Southern Grist Brewing (Nashville, TN): Indirect Shade New England IPA

Never ones to disappoint on creative craft brews, Southern Grist released another great one. Such a unique beauty, my first sip of “Indirect Shade” [6.1% abv] was a delightful, slightly tart (not to be confused with a sour), surprise and it was the perfect way to end a hot Texas summer day. This New England-style IPA is brewed with lemon drop and azacca hops and includes strong notes of tangerine and soursop fruit. Mmm. Very interesting. Very refreshing. Very good. Very Southern Grist.
