Turning Point Beer Turned 1!

The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex does not have a shortage of great craft breweries; however, when Turning Point opened their first tap 1 year ago word spread quickly. They were diving into IPAs honestly not quite like anybody else in DFW. The juicy, hazy, hoppy mania hit Bedford with a bang and was welcomed by all with opens arms…nay…mouths.
With names like “Chicken & Gravy” (yes, it actually paired well with real chicken and gravy), Shake Zula Key Lime Pie, and Cognitive Dissonance just to name few, Turning Point was/is putting out some interesting beers, including lactose brewed milkshake beers, playing with different flavor profiles, creating some stunning stouts as well, while successfully not taking themselves too seriously. It is all really about the shared love of great beers after all. And, they’re going full steam ahead and building an even larger base of fans, and options of available cans and taps. Turning Point Beer turned 1! Yay! [See more brewery info at bottom of post]
Let the soirée begin!
As someone who had frequented this ‘burb brewery on every trip to Big D since they first opened, I am thrilled that I got to attend Turning Point Beer turns 1 birthday bash! We were greeted at the entrance, got our wrist bands, tasting cards, and a rad custom Teku glass with all the cool staff and breweries on it (shout out to my gal Rachel!).

There were just the right amount people there. Full, but not annoyingly oversold. Special taps in the main room for the event and loads of others, including collabs, in the large area out back.

Add some live music, a few awesome food trucks, and yes indeed…it was a kickass time! If you haven’t visited yet, put these folks at the top of your list when in DFW. Highly recommend! Thanks so much for having us and doing what you do Turning Point Beer! Cheers!

Visit brewery HERE. Be sure to check their social media and calendars for special events, including trivia nights, can release and tap dates, and food availability. 🙂 Food trucks usually on-site; however, can BYOFood.
